Rockstar in Reverse

Genre: Faux Autobiography

Language: Extreme Sarcasm

The rollercoaster ride of Ashish Khurana, the sensational heartthrob of a boy band—from pop idol to pop-who?—is a tragicomedy that even Shakespeare would find hilarious. His days now resemble a tragic blend of wine, women, and a lingering melody of what-could-have-beens.

Enter stage left: Shruti Ayyengar, a walking karaoke disaster who thinks she's the love child of Mariah Carey and Freddie Mercury. Spoiler alert: she's more like the distant cousin of a tone-deaf walrus. Shruti Ayyengar would go to any lengths to pursue her ambitions of becoming a rockstar. Including using her sexy allure to manipulate him to get a foothold in the music industry!

How these two dysfunctional characters lie, deceive, manipulate and eventually fall in love is a bittersweet symphony of sacrifice, redemption, second chances and, above all, the essence of art!
